Ward Vessel & Exchanger specializes in the custom design, engineering, fabrication and field service of process equipment for Chemical Processing and related industries. With recent expansions at both our Charlotte, NC and Houston, TX facilities, our production areas have grown to over 90,000 SF (5 separate bays) and are well equipped with (1) 25 ton, (5) 20 ton, (4) 15 ton and (2) 10 ton overhead cranes. Also located on our 4.5 acre campus in Charlotte, NC is an 18,000 square foot outside staging and storage area serviced by (2) 15 ton overhead cranes. Our facilities provide excellent access to materials and temporary storage of your finished vessels while providing reliable modes of transportation (highway, rail and water). Ward Vessel & Exchanger is dedicated to meeting your business needs by offering design and fabrication capabilities in a wide range of pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Our expertise includes reactors (conventional, dimpled and half-pipe jacketed), columns, storage tanks, mix tanks and other process vessels including mechanical polished to #7 finish and electropolished. Ward Tank & Heat Exchanger can meet all of your needs for shell and tube heat exchangers. Our design and fabrication facilities offer fast, efficient and cost-effective designs. We use B-JAC* (Aspen Technologies) for thermal rating and mechanical designs. Our state-of-the-art automatic tubesheet drilling equipment is accurate to 0.0002. We offer all standard TEMA configurations including P, S, T and W types designed in accordance to ASME Code, Section VIII, Division 1 and TEMA C, B and R requirements. Shell sizes range from 4 up to 144 in diameter and design pressures from full vacuum to 5000 PSI. read more
