Corrosion coatings that don’t allow passage of cathodic protection (CP) current in the event of disbondment are called “shielding coatings”. Polyguard’s RD-6 is one coating proven to be non-shielding and has decades of successful in-ground experience
Carpenter Technology Corporation develops and manufactures high-strength, superior corrosion resistant alloys that have withstood severely corrosive environments, elevated temperatures and high stress.

Bio-logic USA is a major supplier of electrochemical measurement instruments for use in corrosion and impedance applications. These systems are based on a unique modular approach to instrumentation design which allows for increased capability built into the instrument initially, or can be added easily afterward.

Product Spotlight

The standard potentiostat in the SP-200 provides +/-12 volts compliance, +/- 10 V reference control, and a maximum current of +/- 500 mA. A range of nine intelligent bandwidths ensures the stability of the SP-200 in a wide variety of experimental conditions.

The SP-200 is a floating instrument, allowing it to be used with grounded cells, autoclaves, and in glove boxes. Additionally, on-site corrosion experiments can be performed thanks to its transportability.
